Emma is a Los Angeles-based actor, singer, and playwright who loves a good cup of coffee.
She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but spent her college years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she attended Point Park University and received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre in April 2018. Post-graduation, Emma was fortunate to spend her first year out of school working at the Pittsburgh Public Theater in productions of Pride and Prejudice, The Tempest, and special reading of Indecent. She made the leap to Los Angeles after closing out the season and has been happily calling LA home since May 2019!
Emma has many passions and is on a constant quest to add purpose and meaning to her life and to the world. She is an avid reader and journaler, published poet, and aspiring playwright. Her other interests include yoga, meditation, travel, and being highly caffeinated at any and all times. If you had to put five items in a pentagram to summon her, they would be an oat milk latte, a sunflower, a plane ticket, a stack of books, and a Passion Planner (look it up if you want to experience goal-setting magic).
Emma cried during her first week of theatre camp when she was eight years old and said she never wanted to go back, but she gathered her courage, went back the second week, and never doubted her path in life after that day. In a review of Pride and Prejudice, Emma's characterization of Lydia Bennet was described as "the human representation of a squirrel on Red Bull." She believes it will be difficult for her career to top this moment.
Emma is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and is represented commercially by Daniel Muhleran at DPM Talent Agency. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Emma's Los Angeles debut, Antigone, Presented by the Girls of St. Catherine's, is currently postponed but will be rescheduled!
