About Emma

Emma is a Los Angeles-based actor, singer, and playwright.

Emma grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she trained with Center Repertory Theatre's Young REP and worked in the regional theatre market. She spent her college years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University. There, she fell in love with writing plays and received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre in April 2018. She had three short plays produced in her time at Point Park and received her first professional production at Theatre Odyssey in Sarasota, Florida in November 2018. As an actor, Emma spent her first year out of school working at the Pittsburgh Public Theater in productions of Pride and Prejudice, The Tempest, and special one-night reading of Indecent. After closing out the season Emma made the leap and moved to Los Angeles, where she has happily been making herself at home since May 2019. Early LA favorites include the Beehive Matcha Latte at Groundwork Coffee, Kazunori hand-roll bar, and Power Yoga East Yoga Studio.

Outside of acting, Emma is an avid reader, aspiring yogi, and coffee fanatic. If you had to place five items in a pentagram to summon her, they would be a stack of books, a latte, an avocado, a plane ticket, and a yoga mat.

Though Emma cried during her first week of theatre camp at age eight and said she never wanted to go back, she gathered her courage, went back the second week, and never doubted her path in life after that day. In a review of Pride and Prejudice, Emma's characterization of Lydia Bennet was described as "the human representation of a squirrel on Red Bull." She believes it will be difficult for her career to top this moment.

Emma is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association. She is represented commercially by Daniel Muhleran at DPM Talent Agency and will be appearing in "Antigone, Presented by the Girls of St. Catherine's" at Sacred Fools Theater Company in March/April 2020.
